Deep Piney Roots
In the historic town of Huntsville, Texas—where the legacy of General Sam Houston still stands strong—Iron Forest FC is planting seeds for a new sporting tradition. From the dense piney woods of the Sam Houston National Forest to the heart of downtown, our club represents the pride, resilience, and spirit that define East Texas.
We are creating a gathering place where families, students, local businesses, and fans from all walks of life can belong. The home of General Sam Houston is now proudly the home of Iron Forest FC.

Iron Forest FC is building a sustainable pre-professional sports organization that unites Huntsville and provides a professional platform for local development.
By recruiting an elite coaching staff, forming strong local partnerships, and providing collegiate stars and prospects with a true pathway through targeted entry into USL League Two, the club is committed to making Huntsville a hallmark market for American soccer.
Lou Fiscella
CEO and FounderLou Fiscella brings decades of experience in professional soccer, coaching, leadership, and community engagement to Iron Forest FC.
A former professional player, Lou competed with the New York Cosmos Reserve Team in 1985 and later with the New Jersey Nationals of the Greek/Hellenic League in the New York Metropolitan area. His playing career also included trials and experience abroad with clubs in Herfølge, Denmark and Sciacca, Italy.
At the collegiate level, Lou played for the nationally ranked Christopher Newport University soccer team as well as the nationally ranked Fairleigh Dickinson University soccer program, where he was later inducted into the FDU Hall of Fame in recognition of his teams' accomplishments and contributions to the sport.
As a coach, Lou has worked extensively at both the youth and collegiate levels, including coaching experience at Sam Houston State University. In 2007, he earned the prestigious USSF "A" Coaching License, reflecting his commitment to player development and high-level coaching education.
Beyond the game, Lou has spent many years as an executive leader in corporate America, developing expertise in leadership, organizational growth, customer experience, and community relations. Through Iron Forest FC, he combines his passion for soccer with a vision of building a club culture that connects deeply with the Huntsville community while delivering a first-class experience for players, supporters, partners, and families.
